i reach out to you
and you are there –
and not there
oh the anguish
and delight in
ardent equal
measure the veil
of absence is
pierced by the
passion and promise
of a union that is
indissoluble not
even death can
stop me being a
a part of you and
you being me
whilst I draw
breath and know
as i am known
on the crest of an
everlasting wave
surfing the breaker
of crashing curling
release explosive
being where godhead
through the gift of
you makes me
more than flesh
or thought but
boundless shoreless
flight into the
kingdom of incandescent
droplets spumankind lit
by the love of
the lover who kisses
us all by water
and the blood
